Rock Face

Rock Face Thasos is produced from marble following a special treatment. The front surface of the pieces is natural while the back surface which is glued to the wall is flat and machine-cut.
The austere white and the crystals of Thasos marble are the main characteristics of the Rock face, which explains why we often encounter it in minimal architectural designs.

If you’re unfamiliar with the term ‘splitface tiles’ or, as they’re sometimes referred to, ‘split face tiles,’ they essentially consist of strips of a particular material, which are cut to different widths, heights and thicknesses, and are arranged to create a staggered, multi-levelled surface.

Well-suited for the Australian climate, marble pavers don’t absorb heat like other natural stones. This makes them ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications in various environments. Use marble pavers in your garden, walkway, patio or pool area to enhance your exterior.

Split Face

If you take horizontal cuts of a variety of different types and thickness of marble and then fix them all to a common substrate, you’ll have created split face marble. This intricate and elegant approach is a great way to strike meaningful contrasts between different veins and shades.

Its thinness and installation ease contribute to the popularity of Rock Face in façade cladding and internal decoration. The same material also produces natural angles to cover corners in walls and columns, thereby reinforcing the final result and giving the feeling of a building completely constructed from stone.
